Minority children are often disadvantaged when going to school and later in life when looking for a job. One reason is that many do not speak the majority language at home and there is too little support for learning.
Lecti Culture Centre regularly visits schools in Bulgaria, where we meet with minority children. Foreign guests talk, read, write, play games, ask questions, dance, sing and play music with the children, motivating them to learn and creating interest towards learning more.
We at Lecti want to create meaningful activities within the framework of schools, motivating and supporting the learning process, working together with the teachers at the schools.
